Jair Jurrjens to get MRI on shoulder
Atlanta Braves starter Jair Jurrjens has a sore right shoulder and will undergo an MRI exam on Wednesday.
Braves general manager Frank Wren says Jurrjens reported early to the teams spring training facility in Kissimmee, Fla. Wren says the scan is precautionary and Jurrjens could return to Florida after the exam if everything is OK.

Guthrie agrees to $3 million, 1-year contract
Pitcher Jeremy Guthrie and the Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a $3 million, one-year contract that avoided arbitration.
The 30-year-old right-hander receives more than four times the $650,000 he made last year, when he was 10-17 with a 5.04 ERA in 33 starts and a career-high 200 innings.
