Wishful Tomcat beat Big Truck by a head in the $76,950 Floral Park Stakes for 3-year-olds. Ramon Dominguez was aboard for trainer Gary Contessa as Wishful Tomcat ran the one mile on the firm course in 1:34.53. Wishful Tomcat got his third win in nine starts, paying $12.40 to win.
You Go West Girl got up by a nose over Love Cove in the $78,250 Hey Babaloulou Stakes for fillies and mares. The 4-year-old ridden by Edgar Prado for trainer Tom Proctor earned her fifth win in 11 starts. She ran the 1 1-16 miles in 1:42.01, paying $7.70 to win.
