Connecticut defensive gear Jarrell Miller, one of the ultimate-rated the Huskies have ever landed, has left the school.
UConn announced Miller’s decision Thursday.
The redshirt out of Richmond, Va., was anticipated to compete for a starting job this period after being moved from in the offseason.
The school said Miller left the program for “private motives.”
Miller originally signed with North Carolina in 2006, but withdrew and went to prep school instead. The NCAA ruled he was disqualified to play for UConn last year, maxim he had to be dried as a transfer student.

Kentucky quarterback Curtis Pulley has pleaded guilty to a speedy charge in Elizabethtown stemming from a travel stop last week.
