Offensive Brad Butler signed a bond allowance with the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday. Following a time of year in which he took over the starting reasonable lookout spot.
Terms of the extra time were not immediately on hand, but Butlers new deal is expected to provide a noteworthy raise over the $445,000 base salary he was booked to make this season. Buffalos fifth-round pick in the 2006 current out of Virginia had two ages left on his treaty and was timetabled to make a base salary of $530,000 in 2009.
The Bills also signed rookie difficult end Derek Fine, the second of Buffalos two quarter-round draft picks. Selected 132nd complete, Fine was a three-year antipasto at Kansas, where he set the college record for fixed ends with 98 line of business . He finished with 1,009 receiving and 10 touchdowns.
Fine is expected to compete for a surrogate spot behind bullpen Robert Royal. Fine is the third of Buffalos 10 sketch picks to sign.
The Bills impolite line is still worried with left attack Jason Peters holding out for a new deal. Peters was by the team after he unused Buffalos two needed practices earlier this month.
