The Oakland Raiders signed prior Nebraska Sam Keller to a indenture Wednesday and waived quarterback Erik Meyer.
Keller was not drafted despite locale a brotherhood track record last time by completing 63.1 percent of his passes for 2,422 yards and 14 touchdowns in nine tournament. But his period concluded too soon when he suffered a shoulder damage against Texas in October. Keller, who went to high group in the San Francisco Bay area, spent his chief academy at Arizona State.
Keller will compete for one of the on the roster behind starter JaMarcus Russell. Andrew Walter is the only additional returning from last term, but the Raiders also signed Marques Tuiasosopo as a free agent this offseason.
