Former Purdue forward Scott Martin has unambiguous to transferal to Notre Dame.
Martin said Wednesday that he termed Fighting Irish instructor Mike Brey on Tuesday to tell him of his choice. He elect Notre Dame after making to Butler and his hometown department, Valparaiso.
Martin said he liked the seminary and his new teammates, and Brey was a key dynamic in his conclusion.
“He lets players play and lets them do what they’re good at,” Martin said.
The 6-foot-8 left-hander eight games for the Boilermakers, who finished the period 25-9 after trailing to Xavier in the next round of the NCAA match. Martin said he certain to leave Purdue because “I just felt for me to be the best I can be I to try rather unique.”
Martin was a highly rated apprentice out of Valparaiso High School in Indiana, averaging 22.2 points and 9.1 as a leading.
