Rutgers has set coach Fred Hill a two-year treaty extension. But he will not receive a earnings proliferation under the deal.

Hill’s convention, which was announced Thursday, will run through 2012-13.

Hill, 48, the 16th head coach in brotherhood history when he Gary Waters in March 2006. He received a five-year agreement cost $500,000 per year as well as base salary and other considerations.

Before that, Hill had been an assistant coach for 24 years, including stops at related Big East representatives Villanova and Seton Hall. He had joined the Scarlet Knights’ program in April 2005 when Waters named him assistant head coach.
